Every several years or so I convince myself and then my wife that we ought to send out something different for Christmas than a Target bought X-mas card. (Actually, truth be told, I tell her every year that I'm going to design another postcard for Christmas that we would get printed and send out, and every year I seem to wait a little too late to actually accomplish it.) This year was no exception. I told her (being inspired by Sufjan Stevens Christmas cds) we ought to send out a cd of self-recorded Christmas songs. Jerri was game, but didn't think I'd follow through with it. She was even game when I asked her to play a little flute part on one song. Neither of us knew the actual time that would be involved. And sometimes it's probably better that way. So after much tracking, trying to get my 3 yr old daughter to sing, convincing Jerri that "I'm almost done!", mixing, designing the art, duplicating cds, putting everything together assembly-line style, way too many Dora DVDs watched to occupy Lorem and address book updating; it is finally done.

So however you found your way here, please feel free to download these songs and enjoy them, if you like this sort of stuff. It's folksy kind of music, embellished with kiddie instruments and plenty of vocal harmonies.

When you click to download, you will be downloading a zip archive of all three songs in mp3 format. The file size is (12.4 mb).
Merry Christmas & God Bless.
